Hoofin’ it.

You know what I love? A cool Saturday morning in August. Flags lifting ever so slightly in the breeze. A colorful and bustling farmer’s market. No destination in mind. A steady, comfortable, and confident pace. People who return my wave as I ride past.

I don’t particularly care for broken chain links, and I especially don’t enjoy the discovery that I don’t have a chain tool along for the ride.

Which is the reason I have time to ponder these thoughts at the moment.

It’s a long walk home.

But at least it’s a cool Saturday morning.
